What this service is

Clef-Flash Playground is an independent website that provides a browser interface and a hosted API for open-weight decision models released by Cloudflare under the Apache 2.0 licence. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cloudflare, Inc.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and within your quota. In particular, do not use it to produce content that is illegal where you or we operate, do not attempt to bypass quotas or rate limits, do not probe or overload the infrastructure, and do not resell raw API access without a written agreement.

  • Free tier: a daily allowance per browser session, no account.
  • Paid tiers: a daily decision quota per API key.
  • We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke access that threatens service quality or breaks these terms.

Your content and our output

You keep whatever rights you have in the state and questions you submit. You are responsible for having the right to submit them. We claim no ownership of the model output; it is yours to use, subject to the Apache 2.0 licence that governs the models themselves.

Decision models return probabilities, not certainties. Do not use the output as the sole basis for a decision that carries legal, medical, financial or safety consequences.

Payments and refunds

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider. The amount charged is the amount shown in the provider’s catalogue at checkout. If a paid tier does not work for you, write to us within fourteen days of purchase and we will refund it.

Availability

The service is provided as is. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and the free tier is explicitly best-effort. When the live model provider is unavailable the API falls back to a deterministic scorer and says so in the response; treat that as a degraded answer.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss arising from decisions you take on the basis of model output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
